I also received this table without hardware. Fortunately, we have a hardware store close by. It is finally together and I love it. It is a great table where you have limited space.

The table itself seems very sturdy and well made... though... I ordered two tables, one had damage to the finish on the table top, the other came without hardware to attach the legs. I used the hardware from the damaged table to put the other table together and it looks beautiful. I returned the damaged table and ordered another. The second one came with the table top attached at a severe angle. This was very noticeable. Not wanting to go to the hassle of returning yet another table, I had my husband remove all of the screws that attach the table top to the base and straighten it. It didn't take too long to accomplish this and after attaching the legs, it too looks beautiful. So, while I am happy with the way the tables look... it sure was a long drawn out process to get them into place next to our living room chairs.

Whomever "distressed" this table did not know the first thing about distressing furniture. What the person did was to take a sharp implement and gouge smiley-face marks into the wood...like what a drunk would do if asked to do a smiley face....big grin-like mark and multiple single jabs per placement. It was stained AFTER this was done. So the result is that it looks exactly like a kid took a thin-point magic marker and made random marks (six in all....on six different planes of the table/single leg). It looks like damage.Distressing isn't random like this...there's continuity....and it is done AFTER the finish is put on.The manufacturer says that what I have is the look that was intended....I will not be buying anything else of this brand because I have no faith that they know what they're doing. It was made in China....perhaps something was lost in translation.I have pictures....this (my order page) isn't giving me the opportunity to post them. Perhaps after I send this, I'll go to the sale posting and insert them in a review there. The marks look stupid.....I'd like for you to judge for yourself. No....there's no place to post pictures....I sure wish there was.
