I ordered this table - twice. Both times the item arrived damaged. Not slightly - with portions split from end to end. The item is NOT packaged well enough. The company was very good about return shipping and getting me my refunds. One star for that.Stay away from this item.

I love my trunk, but it's definitely not the greatest quality. It came missing a few screws and the wood is very rough in some places. However, I wanted something rustic looking so it does the trick. :)

I love this desk. it is a modest gray save pro it looks great and the storage is skilled excessively.. I do not be inflicted including any complaints on this piece:)

If you look around on the Internet, you will see this same trunk with a large price span. However, there are also NUMEROUS bad reviews regarding the trunks' condition upon arrival....specifically from this vendor. Prior to delivery, I emailed this company's customer service dept and inquired if they felt they has resolved the faulty issues. I received a very "cookie cutter" response that showed little concern, nor did they offer to pass the comment on to someone more familiar with the item or issues. The trunk arrived and although our house has a number of very rustic items, antiques, and southwestern items.....this trunk is just sloppy. It has drops of dried varnish on the top surface, and a certain areas have had wood fill used and wiped off...but making the area around them dull. If you plan on opening the top "doors" onto the supports (as pictured), so that you can serve on them.....forget it. The doors do not open all the way as pictured. And .....It was only two weeks later I noticed a huge crack running horizontally near the bottom edge......source of origin of the crack is exactly where the metal hardware screws into the wood. My guess is that the trunk is constructed in a foreign country using green wood in a humid atmosphere. After the trunk is shipped the wood begins to dry. I have no doubt that this crack may not have been as noticable when the trunk arrived, but has "opened up" and is getting larger as the wood has dried.This company already appears to have a quality control problem. I will return to this review and let you know how the return was handled. NOTE: ALTHOUGH THE AD SAYS NO SHIPPING COSTS , I JUST NOTICED ON THE RECEIPT PACKED WITH THE ITEM THAT THERE WAS A $50 CHARGE FOR "P S". So, in reality this item totaled $491.00.
